DOUBLE CELEBRATION

Etiquette Labels
, one of Britain’s foremost suppliers of plain labels, printed labels and labelling equipment to the food industry, has moved to a major new production facility and secured an award in the global FINAT Labelling competition.

Etiquette Labels was the only European company to be highly commended in the Flexography Class 1 category. The company entered a label printed for HP Foods and received the award based on the high level of its print quality and colour.

The news of the award win came as the company settled into its new premises in Wrexham, North Wales. With over 30,000 square feet of available production space, the move to the new building is designed to support the current level of business growth enjoyed by Etiquette Labels and forms an important part of the company’s business strategy to double its turnover by the year 2000.

Representing a significant investment over the next five years, the company has installed additional state-of-the-art printing machinery.

Commenting on the company’s latest success, director Tom Bunce said, ‘This is a very exciting time for the company and we are absolutely thrilled with the award. It represents a great reward for the team here at Etiquette Labels which works hard to ensure that the production of our labels is maintained to stringent quality standards.’

Etiquette Labels supplies a number of the UK’s leading food industry brands including Bovril, Marmite, HP Sauce and Sharwoods.

In terms of labels, it produces labels in up to eight colours, for primary product use or for thermal transfer or direct thermal imaging. Its equipment division supplies a full range of equipment from desk top labels, printers and software to print and apply systems and applications.

It operates a fast response turnaround time, often supplying orders within 48 hours of receipt. For customers which require it, Etiquette Labels operates a ‘Just In Time’ delivery service and it holds stocks on the shelf for immediate call-off for contracted customers.
