IDENTIFICATION LABELS


A label is a tag attached with adhesive to something so as to identify the object or its contents. Labels come in many shapes and sizes and can be differentiated by the type of material they are printed on, and by the adhesive that they are stuck with. The most common type is made with a paper. Labels have many uses, from product identification to name tags. Barcodes are frequently used on many products as a convenient way of identification. Brand labels are used to identify the company which produces the product they are attached to and can identify the contents in a packet or jar.

Labels can be pre-printed or the business can print its own labels using a laser, inkjet or copier. Address labels are the most commonly used label, either with the company or individual’s address or their customers’ address for mail shots.

A4 laser/inkjet and copier labels are available in many different material onfigurations. These include coloured or colour washed, translucent, opaque, blockout or clear labels. Clear Labels are an increasingly popular, yet commonly misunderstood. There are many different types clear labels, some of which can include frosted clear labels, matt translucent clear labels, transparent clear labels, glass clear labels, gloss clear labels and see through clear labels.

CD Labels are available in many material variations, specially designed to suit bothlaser and inkjet printers. CD labels are available in different formats including Inkjet CD labels which can be Photo Quality, White Paper, High Resolution, Glass Clear Polyester, Plain Paper, Removable or Peelable, Coloured Paper, and Pre Printed. Laser CD Labels can be Plain Paper, Glass Clear Polyester, Gloss White Paper, Matt White Polyester, Matt Translucent Polyester, Gold and Silver Metallic Paper, Matt White Polyethylene, Fluorescent Paper in Lemon/Yellow, Green, Red & Orange,Removable or Peelable and Coloured Paper CD Labels.
