The small business is a very big cooperative partner with the label manufacturers, as are the label manufacturers also quite a cooperative partner benefiting from their relationship with the small businesses of the world, but the relationship does seem to have its shares advantages and disadvantages for small businesses and the label manufacturers alike.

The small business tends to depend on the label manufacturers for the supply of more than just the labels of label manufacturers, and usually must go through certain spectrums of the business in order to capitalize on certain advantageous situations. The small business can use the label manufacturers to receive a broad range of supplies and services from the label manufacturers, but their ability to do so may be limited by other unknowns that often plague the business world, and may sometimes funnel the business towards specific label manufacturers.

The existence of such agreements can really hurt the small business’s financial growth due to the fixed amount of money that must be paid to such companies. The limit of such financial manoeuvring does not give the business much of a chance, especially with a growth of numbers, and diversity, in the label manufacturers’ trade. The label manufacturers become the big beneficiaries in this process, and are driven to profits by such agreements, especially when there are contracts for the label manufacturers to work with certain companies, and the ability and order of such production would allow the label manufacturers to work elsewhere, while consistently bringing in money from the already-in companies.

Many small businesses frown upon the way that big businesses, like the label manufacturers, can fuse together to create financially powerful monopolies, but that is the world of free enterprise. The small business can grow to be a formidable opponent for the bigger fish of industry, but must try to exercise its own amount of control over their choice of label manufacturers, especially if they are to receive exactly what they want from the label manufacturers they do, in fact, choose to go with.
