PASTA WITH ETIQUETTE
Etiquette Labels Ltd has won the contract to supply pre-printed direct thermal labels for May Tree Foods’ new range of pasta-based ready meals – Pasta Plus.
Wrexham, UK-based label manufacturer Etiquette, has also installed a label printing system to enable May Tree to produce barcoded information for insertion on the pre-printed labels.
A keypad printer enables the operator to tap in the relevant information, which is then transferred on to the space provided on the pre-printed label.
As well as eliminating the expense of over-ordering labels from external suppliers, says Etiquette, the system saves time by enabling customers to print and update information quickly and accurately onsite.
Peter Morgan-Jones, May Tree Foods managing director, told Labels & Labelling International: ‘Etiquette already supplies labels for our pizza range and when the opportunity arose to commission a label and printing system for our new pasta range, they were our first choice. ‘They consistently print high quality labels and we are always pleased with the results, ‘ he added.
