In the week prior to closing for the Christmas break Mark Andy UK Limited received orders for five label presses and a considerable amount of ancillary equipment, bringing 1995 to a very successful conclusion.

The press orders were for three Mark Andy 2200s destined for Quality Labels in Dublin, Improved Marking and Label Co Limited and
Etiquette Labels, one Mark Andy 4150 for Modern Labelling Methods and a Mark Andy 830 for Galaxy Business Products. In addition, orders were received for the Mark Andy Multiroll 6 Ultrasonic Anilox Cleaner and the plate mounting system.

Michael Richardson, managing director of Mark Andy UK, claims the continuing success of Mark Andy equipment confirms the company’s position as the leading supplier of narrow web flexographic presses in the UK and Ireland.

‘Our commitment to the industry is demonstrated by our decision to install a fully operational demonstration facility at our UK headquarters. There is nowhere else customers can see and try for themselves the latest flexographic print technology.

‘We have four presses on permanent display which are constantly upgraded as new systems are developed. This enables customers to establish exactly what they need before placing an order.’
