We have been working with AB World Foods for a long time now, manufacturing the printed jar labels for their famous Patak’s curry sauces.
AB World Foods is AB World Foods is an international branded business, famous for flavour. With approximately 700 employees and c£160m turnover, they work across eight geographical locations. They partner with many different brands like well-known and loved Blue Dragon and Patak’s. Patak’s iconic brand is well-recognised and cherished by generations of Brits.
L.G. Patak arrived in the UK in 1957 with just £5 to his name and started a family company that became the reason the UK loves curry. His wife, Shanta set to work in a tiny family kitchen and soon people would queue outside to taste her cooking. It wasn’t long before their 10-year-old son Kirit was making deliveries all over London.
The real turning point was the development of ready-made sauces, which made making curry simple for those with little time to cook from scratch. When Kirit grew up he took over the business and his visionary leadership had turned Patak’s into one of the UK’s most successful food brands. His family’s business, which has its headquarters in Leigh, Greater Manchester, was sold to Associated British Foods (ABF) in 2007.
We are proud to be a part of their story. We have been involved in producing printed jar labels for them for a long time now and we continually provide them with quality consistent with their unparallel reputation.
