World Radiography Day is celebrated on the 8th November each year. The date marks the anniversary of the discovery of x-radiation by Wilhelm Roentgen in 1895. Radiographers worldwide are encouraged to use the day to promote radiography as a career, as a vital contribution to modern healthcare and as a chance to increase public awareness of diagnostic imaging and radiation therapy.
By using the latest UV inks and printing techniques we were able to print these circular labels. The design is focused around the industry using a photographic still of head scan, to raise awareness of the day, and jobs radiographers do. These simple but striking labels are sure to catch the attention of any person who sees them. This is a drastic overhaul from last year’s design which featured a design around poppy’s as a mark of respect to Remembrance Day. You can see last year’s design by following this link.
