Recently we were asked to produce both front and back labels for Lo-Col an alternative cheese product, for consumers with high cholesterol. It is made in exactly the same way as traditional cheese, the only difference being that the cream is removed from the milk and replaced with vegetable oil, which acts as an alternative replacement.<\/p>\n
The labels were produced using UV inks for outstanding print quality and also feature a photograph of the cheese for extra on-shelf appeal. The reverse label features a list of ingredients which adheres to the food labelling law by highlighting ingredients some consumer may potentially be allergic in bold, as is the industry standard as of December 2014. The back label also features nutritional information and a pre-printed barcode in addition for space that allows a best before date to be printed.
