Then let’s talk about everyone’s favourite subject…… GIN! We manufacture labels for numerous gin producers one of which is Deerness Distillery, located in the beautiful Parish of Deerness on the east mainland of Orkney. Owners and founders Stuart and Adelle Brown started producing gin as a hobby, but it quickly became a fully-fledged business with more and more people demanding the high quality handcrafted gin, with handcrafting becoming a recurring theme throughout Deerness Distillery.

The company logo was created and lino-cut by hand and the label designs were originally drawn and hand cut. Knowing the importance of quality Deerness turned to Etiquette to manufacture labels for their products. Our expert production team worked closely with both Stuart and Adelle to ensure the labels captured the ethos and values that Deerness stands for whilst paying homage to the heritage of the archipelago of Orkney which has deep roots in the fishing industry. The labels themselves have been printed with environmentally friendly UV inks on a special translucent polyethylene material which allows light to pass through the bottle and highlight the design in the most spectacular way, giving these gin bottles a unique on-shelf appeal.
