Belton Farm Cheesemakers, (or Belton Cheese) are celebrating an amazing 100th anniversary! What a wonderful occasion it is! It&#8217;s a whole century of producing mind-blowingly delicious cheese. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4>How it began<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>In 1922, Stanley Beckett started working at Belton as a farm student, before taking on the tenancy and eventually buying the farm. The business was going well and the cheesemaking got better and better! In 1966 they managed to achieve a great ambition and won the Supreme Championship at the London Dairy show. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In 1973 the cheesemaking moved out of the farm house and the new Dairy was built and &#8220;Belton Cheese Limited&#8217; was founded.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Supreme Champion title has been awarded to Belton Cheeses many times over the years. 2011 proved to be Belton&#8217;s best award year to date winning a total of 197 awards.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4>How it&#8217;s going <\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Belton introduced the latest addition to the Belton Farm range with a new modem British cheese called Red Fox. The cheese has proved to be a runaway success and gained the accolade of Best New Dairy Product 2012 at ICA Nantwich. In 2016 a White Fox has been introduced and also quickly became a hit. In 2021 Smoked Red Fox joined the family. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We have been proudly producing their labels for years and we feel privileged to be a part of Belton&#8217;s history.
