Hidden deep in the forest lies a village full of blue people. And we’re not talking here about Pandora and Nav’vi but good old Smurfs. If you’re not familiar with it (which I doubt) – Smurfs is a Belgian\u00a0comic\u00a0franchise centred on a fictional colony of small, blue, humanoid creatures who live in\u00a0mushroom-shaped houses in the forest, where they lead a peaceful life, hiding from the evil wizard Gargamel <\/em>and his cat.\u00a0The Smurfs<\/em>\u00a0was first created and introduced as a series of comic characters by the\u00a0Belgian comics\u00a0artist\u00a0Peyo in 1958, wherein they were known as\u00a0Les Schtroumpfs<\/em>. There are more than 100 Smurf characters, including Clumsy, Brainy, Grouchy, Hefty, Greedy and Jokey. Not to mention the only girl in the group, Smurfette – created by the nasty Gargamel, in order to spy on them and sow jealousy. For 64 years now they have entertained kids and adults alike and are now an important part of our popular culture. The printed synthetic labels<\/strong><\/a> we have just produced look absolutely stunning! The lovable characters printed in vivid colours and high definition add charm to an otherwise simple, mundane product. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

They are printed with flexographic presses, using UV inks. An extra block of white ink makes the images pop, while the synthetic substrate makes the label extremely durable and water, wear and tear-proof. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
