Good Housekeeping Institute is a well-known initiative from the Good Housekeeping magazine. I’m sure you find the red star and the simple logo familiar. On their website they say:
“GHI Approved initiative is an unbiased, independent endorsement only for products that pass our consumer Quality Assessment tests. The GHI Approved logo provides strong brand acclamation, backed by rigorous expert testing and can be used by manufacturers and retailers to provide a clear ‘permission to purchase’ message to consumers.
Food and drink products are assessed for: taste, texture, aroma and visual appeal. The test is run by our food experts and each product is tested by 10 ‘taste test trained’ experts as well as 50 consumers, who take part in a blind taste test. Products on the test must pass all four criteria to meet the standards of the GHI and can then be offered the 12-month endorsement.
Non food and drink products are assessed for: design, ease of use, performance, instructions and specific claims. Only if the product passes in each area can it be offered the endorsement to use for up to a year. “
GHI approval is an important asset, as the brand is well trusted by consumers. Just like the quality of our labels!
These labels were produced on a semigloss paper and printed using a traditional flexographic printing method. UV inks are an eco-friendly solution, while high-quality printing plates guarantee fantastic definition and quick label production. Ultra-precise cutters help us achieve the perfectly oval and symmetrical cutout for these labels.
The labels we produce are supplied on a roll, unless specified otherwise by the customer, to enable machine application. We can tailor the core size to your needs. We also provide label applicators, automatic, semi-automatic and print and apply machinery.
